PFLAG San Diego County invites you to join us in celebrating Pride 2021!
From PFLAG Sunday at the Met to Resilient Community March to the Pride Family Gathering and much more!!! Don’t miss these upcoming events and get a chance to come together with community!
Here’s a few things to know:
- All events continue to follow COVID safety guidelines and participants are encouraged to practice social distancing and wear masks at their discretion.
- July is hot in San Diego. For outdoor events, wear sunscreen or other sun protection and stay hydrated!
- Feel free to wear your favorite Pride gear to show your spirit

Pride Family Gathering: July 18th
In partnership with San Diego Youth Services and the organizations comprising the Alliance of Affirming Families, PFLAG San Diego County is proud to be a co-organizer of the official Pride Family Gathering. This event takes place on Sunday, July 18th from 9:30am until 2pm at the Spring Valley East Community Campus of SDYS located at 3845 Spring Drive in Spring Valley.
It will feature a full day of programming for folx of all ages. Activities include: arts and crafts, face painting, clown entertainment, playground structures, field games including soccer hosted by the San Diego Loyals, a dance party featuring guests from the San Diego Civic Dance Arts, Drag Queen Story Hour, and more. This event will also host a site for rapid COVID testing. Light snacks, water, and other refreshments will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring your own comforts needed for a day outdoors, such as blankets, picnic items, canopies, chairs, outdoor games, and anything else for a fun day in the sun. Front Runners & Walkers San Diego Pride 5K: July 16-18
In consideration of the health and safety of participants, the annual San Diego Pride 5K Run/Walk is being held virtually this year! Run or walk anytime, anywhere from July 16-18, 2021. This event benefits fantastic programs of San Diego Pride and the San Diego LGBT Community Center’s Youth Housing Project. Sign up to run/walk or simply donate to show your support for these amazing partners. PFLAG San Diego County has created a team and would love for you to support this event and join our team at registration.
