The 23rd Annual AIDS Walk/Run to raise money for area groups that help care for about 12,000 HIV or AIDS patients in San Diego County Organizers expected around 8,000 participants and say its the biggest single-day fundraiser for HIV/AIDS causes in the area. Since 1989, it has raised more than $8 million for care organizations. The AIDS Walk/Run is sponsored by The San Diego Community Center.
